Unusual Tiny Houses, Episode 1 – Food Cart

Meet the Kalamata Bistro!

When people hear “tiny house,” they usually think of all those HGTV episodes they binge-watched under the Snuggie. Most viewers don’t know that there are many other uses for a tiny house. In fact, Tiny SMART House began with a mobile office project.

These days a tiny house can take shape in many different ways. Clients are requesting tiny house salons, yoga studios, consignment shops, and – you guessed – food carts! Our most recent inquiry was for a tiny house candle store that could travel to home shows across the state. It turns out our little road warriors are perfect for the job. Each model has been approved by a program that tests them for 70 mph hurricane-force winds (because that’s the equivalent of driving down the highway), and a 9.0 earthquake (because that’s the equivalent of hitting a pothole).

For now, we’re finally going to give you all a peek inside our Mediterranean food cart. Everything inside is restaurant grade and fully up to health code. Lucky for you, it’s staying on our property at the moment so we can show it off to all our tours.
